Improving Belmont economic centre

Lake Macquarie is home to a network of vibrant and unique centres; serving as hubs for jobs, education, retails, health services, housing and social connection.

As a key economic centre in the north-east of our our city, Belmont offers unique opportunities when it comes to investment in new jobs and delivering diverse housing options that suit the needs of our growing population.

We want Belmont economic centre to be accessible to everyone, with improved pedestrian access making it easier to get around.

Council is currently reviewing its Belmont strategic planning framework and, as part of this review, we're seeking feedback from Belmont residents, business owners, visitors and other stakeholders to understand what the community values about Belmont and what opportunities for improvement exist within the economic centre.

Share your ideas before 7 July via our interactive feedback map or come and meet the project team at Belmont Baths on Saturday 21 June, 8-11am
